Trip Overview
Your cycling adventure begins as you exchange pleasantries with your fellow riders, check your brakes, strap on your helmet and push off to what will be the beginning to a wonderful evening. You will cycle out of various locations from the winding trails of the beautiful Humber River Escarpment where every corner will reveal hidden rock-bed streams, river edges frequented by Great Blue Herons and Beaver. Here you will also bike past carefully manicured flowerbed gardens speckled with colour! Our other sunset cycling locations will allow you to explore the federally protected gentle lands of the Oak Ridges Moraine trail system created by glacial remains from the last ice age! Cycling through these trails you will not only relieve yourself of the day's stresses but also become enchanted by the scenery as you catch glimpses of Blue Heron in flight, cycle past friendly chipmunks, ground hogs, blue jays, hawks and owls. The trails vary from paved single track to packed dirt wooded trails, so you're bound to get trail variety. During the course of the trip we will stop to admire the scenery, have some healthy snacks and not to mention enjoy the fresh air.
